Remsberg Park Master Plan

This 94 acre site owned by the town is intended for use as a major new park is comprised of rolling topography in the area of Middletown Valley with views to the Blue Ridge Mountains and Harpers Ferry. The designers strategically organized the park program according to topography.
Jury Comments:
- Appreciate grading sensitivity; using slopes for seating; respected the hilltop
- Program required play fields, but LA was careful that they did not intrude on views
- Designer achieved broader vision than just a collection of park elements
