Blue Drop markets and sells Bloom to nurseries, landscapers, soil blenders, construction firms and select retail outlets in the mid-Atlantic area in partnership with DC Water. A combination of DC Water and Blue Drop staff make up the team on this program.

The Bloom Sales Manager leads all sales activities for the Bloom program. The position requires direct selling to commercial and institutional customers. Duties

Direct Sales

  • Ensures that Blue Drop and DC Water meet sales targets for Bloom by directly selling the product to commercial and institutional customers

  • Meets with existing customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them

The successful candidate will be a licensed engineer or EIT with a background in developing design of bicycle and pedestrian facilities from concepts to final engineering.

Essential Functions

  • Work in a team environment delivering client focused services.
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines on projects ranging from concept to construction.
  • Demonstrate creativity and critical thinking in solving complex transportation challenges.
